Ingredients

  • 6-8 ounces of freshly brewed coffee

  • 1.5 ounces of Irish whiskey

  • Whipped cream (fresh preferred)

  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Directions

  • Preheat an irish coffee glass, mug, or other heatproof glass with hot water, then empty.
  • Add the hot coffee until your mug is roughly 2/4 full.
  • Add the brown sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
  • Mix in the Irish whiskey.
  • Top with the whipped cream by gently pouring it over the back of a spoon so that it floats on top. Do not stir.
  • Enjoy while hot!
